The Journal of Psychometry and Assessment Techniques (JOPAT) is a publication of the Institute of Education, Faculty of Education, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. The Journal is intended to provide a platform for the dissemination of information of Psychometry and Assessment Techniques in Education and other areas in the field of Education.

It is a peer-review Journal that accepts works that is concluded in education and other related fields. The Journal emphasizes on the publication of original investigation that contributes new knowledge and understanding. Manuscripts submitted for publication consideration in JOPAT are evaluated according to the degree to which the manuscript fits the focus of the journal, significance of the theoretical, practical and/or methodology contributions, quality of the literature, rigour of design and clarity of presentation of the analysis and the interpretation of results and recommendations.
