The Journal of Psychometry and Assessment Techniques (JOPAT) is a scholarly publication of the Institute of Education, Faculty of Education, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. The Journal is intended to provide a platform for the dissemination of information on psychometry and Assessment Techniques in Education and other areas in the field of Education.

It is a peer-reviewed journal that accepts works that are published in education and other related fields. The journal emphasises publishing original investigations that contribute new knowledge and understanding. Manuscripts submitted for publication consideration in JOPAT are evaluated according to the degree to which the manuscript fits the focus of the journal, the significance of the theoretical, practical, and/or methodology contributions, the quality of the literature, the rigour of design and the clarity of presentation of the analysis and the interpretation of results and recommendations
